The seed is considered the highest thing our physical body produces, and its origin comes from higher worlds. A tradition from our sages – MAZAL is an acronym for 'Motzi Zera Levatala' (emitting seed in vain)! When a person emits their seed, they are sending their abundance out in vain! (Vain = Lilith the harlot). And one must know that Joseph, who is the aspect of Yesod (Foundation), gathered much food, and when famine came, he became “the ruler over the land; it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed down to him with their faces to the ground”. This happens when a person guards their seed; they preserve all their powers, their intellect, their wisdom, and then they rise higher and higher like Joseph who withstood the trial of Potiphar's wife, the temptress who wanted to seduce him. And then, because of that trial in which he stood firm as a young and handsome man, he became the viceroy of Egypt and even more than that – he became the main authority in Egypt while Pharaoh became secondary. Egypt at that time was the ruling empire in the world. And this is the aspect of “You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed” – through the trial that a person withstands, especially in guarding the covenant by not emitting seed in vain (to Lilith), afterwards they are elevated higher and higher. And so says the Gemara: “Rabbi Yohanan said: There are three whom the Holy One, Blessed be He, proclaims every day:” A bachelor who lives in a city and does not sin.." (Pesachim 113a) This refers to a bachelor who lives in a city and does not sin, meaning he guards his seed from being emitted in vain with women or by himself, whom the Holy One, Blessed be He, takes pride in and proclaims praises for every day. And one must know that Yesod is a Sefirah called “All” because it receives the lights from all the Sefirot that come before it. And one should know that according to Indian medicine, they also speak about this but on a body-soul level – according to Indian medicine, there are about seven tissues that are built one from another and one after another, where the seventh and final tissue, called Virya or Shukra, corresponds to the sexual system and seed (Yesod). In essence, it turns out that the seed is formed from all the body's tissues that preceded it, and from each and every tissue, the best and most refined part passes on until it reaches the seventh tissue for seed production, which essentially contains all the essences of the tissues before it. In alchemy, “essence” is called Essence in foreign languages, and the seed, which is the aspect of glory and splendor of the male body, is the essence of essences or in foreign language: Quintessence. And according to Chinese medicine, each and every organ in the body essentially gives its essence, its best part, and from this the seed is built. And according to Chinese medicine, damage to any organ in the body affects sexual function and seed, and conversely, when you preserve seed, it positively affects the health and prosperity of the organs. And we learn morality from our father Jacob, peace be upon him, who is the senior of the patriarchs because he is the aspect of the middle pillar, the aspect of Tiferet that mediates between Chesed and Gevurah, and he is our role model in the aspect of Tiferet, which is the aspect of the sun that is the role model for males in the world (see my book 'The Secret of the Sun and 3 Pillars for Self-Confidence' for more details on this topic) because it is essentially the balanced measure between too much Chesed and too much Gevurah (like for example between too good and too bad, between spendthrift and miser, etc.) Our father Jacob said to his son Reuben: “Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength” (Genesis 49:3) And Rashi “the great commentator, peace be upon him,” explains there: The beginning of my strength – This was his first drop, for he had never experienced a nocturnal emission. !!! And so says Maimonides: Semen is the strength of the body, its life, and the light of the eyes. The more it is emitted, the more the body is consumed, its strength is depleted, and its life is lost. This is what Solomon said in his wisdom, "Do not give your strength to women." Anyone who is immersed in sexual intercourse will age prematurely, his strength will weaken, his eyes will dim, a bad odor will emanate from his mouth and armpits, the hair of his head, eyebrows, and eyelashes will fall out, the hair of his beard, armpits, and legs will increase, his teeth will fall out, and many other pains besides these will come upon him. The wise doctors said that one in a thousand dies from other illnesses, and the thousand from excessive intercourse. Therefore, a person needs to be careful with this matter if they want to live well, and should not have intercourse unless they find their body very healthy and strong, and they have an erection without intention, and they distract themselves to something else and the erection remains as it was, and they feel heaviness from their loins downward, and as if the cords of the testicles are being pulled, and their flesh is warm – this one needs to have intercourse and it is a remedy for them. A person should not have intercourse when they are full or hungry, but after the food in their intestines has been digested, and they should check their orifices before and after intercourse, and should not have intercourse standing or sitting, nor in the bathhouse, nor on the day they enter the bathhouse, nor on the day of bloodletting, nor on the day of setting out on a journey or returning from a journey, neither before nor after these times. (Hilchot De'ot 4:19) And we will conclude with the words of Sefer HaBrit: Come and see what the Rokeach, of blessed memory, wrote in Sefer HaShem, and this is his language: We have a tradition in our hands, and it is also proven and tested by experience, that anyone who is accustomed to the sin of emitting seed in vain, even if they were born under a good star, it turns to become a bad star for them and they become a man who will not prosper in his days, and all that he does in work or in business, he loses. Even if gold is in his hand, it turns by his bad fortune into copper, measure for measure. He sent forth his hands and profaned his covenant, the holy covenant, therefore in all the work of his hands, the Lord will send “curse and misfortune until he becomes poor and destitute all his days, and this is what the verse says, "Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him" (Isaiah 3)”. Therefore, one who emits seed in vain is an acronym for MAZAL (fortune), and it also causes him to be a wanderer because that place where he emitted seed in vain will cast him to another place on earth and the ground will no longer tolerate him in that place. This is the secret of what is said regarding those who pursue lewdness, "And let not the land vomit you out, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you" (Leviticus 18) end of quote. Our sages said: A man should not be frequent with his wife like a rooster, meaning he should not exaggerate with marital relations too much. And one must learn the secret of marital relations without emitting seed at all! A person should emit seed for one purpose only, and that is to be fruitful and multiply. If he does not intend to procreate, he should not emit even one drop of seed!! And what should a person do who wants to start having relations for as long as he wants and not ejaculate at the end, not even a drop, or to drastically reduce the amount of seed that comes out – this is exactly what I teach.
